Karen’s first memory of writing was before she was in Junior High School, scribbling away in her blue binder filled with filler paper, knowing that she could always add to it when she ran out of paper.

After the birth of her second child, Karen began writing romantic novels for fun. Now she is stepping into the role of author, both e-publishing and print and is excited that she will be sharing her works with the world.

In addition to her original works, Karen has also written several “fan fictions” that she is beginning to let the rest of the world read and enjoy and has won several awards for.  Links to these are on the “Awards” page.

She enjoys science fictions, especially Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stargate:SG1, Doctor Who and its spin off Torchwood in addition to romance and drama. Karen is also a big fan of William Shakespeare and was thrilled to set foot inside the Globe Theater in London, England in 2004. Maybe, someday she will share her pictures from there to the world.

Karen is also a wife of over 14 years and mother to 3 highly energetic and creative children and works as one of the two “non-engineers” in a consulting engineering firm specializing in broadcast radio. In her spare time, she also enjoys knitting and baking.
