They got the first half of the routine broken down fairly well when there was a knock at the door.

Micha bellowed at it and Rob’s head poked in. “Beth, it is time for our rehearsal. Are you ready?” her co-star asked.

“Oh, I didn’t realize our time was up,” she replied.

“Would you like to show your friend what you have learned?” Misha asked her.

“You think that it’s close to being able to be seen in the outside world?”

“Why not, Elizabeth.”

“You are the master, I am but the student,” she replied as Rob came into the room and the pair began the routine.

Rob was very impressed with Beth’s skill and control. If she had studied dance, he thought she could have been a ballerina with the way her body moved instinctual. Rob loved watching her muscles move and her sweat drenched leotard left very little to his imagination. He began to feel a twinge of jealously as Misha got to hold her and run his hands over her youthful body.

When they were done, Rob applauded loudly at the two dancers. Beth bowed to Micha and the to her audience, Rob.

“I am sorry we have to end today. I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed it.”

“It was my pleasure Elizabeth,” he said as he hugged her and kissed her on both of her flushed cheeks. “Thank you and I will see you on Thursday, no?”

“No, thank you Misha. Till Thursday,” she told her teacher as she picked up her bag and bottle of water.

Rob took her bag from her and said as the two left the studio, “You were very good.”

“Thanks, I can’t believe that Misha’s my teacher. This is incredible!” she said, nearly bouncing off the walls with excitement.

“Welcome to life as a movie star.”

“I could get used to it,” she told him as they entered another rehearsal room. Beth took her bag and pulled out a pair of dancing heals and a large bandeau that she tied around her like a skirt. As Beth let her long red hair down from her tight bun, Rob watched her transform from the ballerina to his dance partner, not feeling jealous but pleased that he was going to get his chance to hold Beth in his arms.

Their instructor entered the room as Beth was replacing her slippers in her bag

“Ms. Edwards, Mr. Cobb. It is so nice to meet you both. I am Michelle Nelson.”

“Nice to meet you, Michelle,” Rob said shaking her hand.

“Yes, Mr. Cobb. Have you had any dance experience?” Michelle asked.

“Just what I have picked up over the years, but Beth is the dancer,” directing the instructors attention to the still sweaty Beth.

“Oh, yes, Ms. Edwards,” Michelle said turning to Beth. “How much dance experience do you have?” she asked with attitude.

“Mostly ballet and jazz. Not too much with a partner.”

“Okay, I was told you need waltzes and some Latin.”

“I am also going to need a polka with another actor,” Beth told the instructor.

“Okay,” Michelle said dismissing Beth’s needs. “Why don’t we start with the waltz? The studio sent over the music.” Michelle cued up the music as Rob placed his arm around Beth’s waist and took her hand in his. The music was from the anniversary party and Beth had to remember that her gown was quite large.
